238/241 for a daily driver seems a little too much of a cam for me. also thats too big for stock heads have they been ported and polsihed or are you planning on doing that?

238/241 is not to much for a DD, I know. The heads are ported very little.

238/241 is a lot of duration for non ported heads, i went custom and asked for the biggest recommended with untouched heads that would be driven pretty regular and they made a 224/234 on a 110 lobe sep, but mine is a 6 speed, the 110 wouldnt be that good for a auto car.

cc503 is probably the best off the shelf cam for DD

but in all honesty the streetability of a cam is pretty much solely dependant on how good your tuner is

I don't think anyone will argue you that it is a lot of duration, but it is still streetable. Obviously because he drives it to work and back every day of the week, and it works just fine

Yeah very true I think I have to replce my Opti first then I get to try and run as close to 12 no cam no suspension as I can hoping to hit 13.2's.
