No problem, when you go to install them, if they are a little tight, especially on the hard lines underneath the car, you may need to use a little fine grip sandpaper or steel wool to polish them up enough for the connectors to slide on.

about these fuel line adapters...

does the same quick connect adapter for the fuel rail end work under the car as well?

I've been looking for something to adapt the stock lines to standard -AN line for when I put my single plane intake on the car so I don't have to half-*** something (why start now, I know...)

and what kind of power will a -6 line support? I know I'm far from the limits of the -6 (or 3/8") with only 380rwhp... but how much more power can be had before the stock fuel line size is a limiting factor?

so does anyone have a parts list and purchase directory for this mod yet? I am going to start the wire mod this week and hopefully by the time I am done I will have the info needed to replace ALL the fuel lines with braided lines and get them tucked as well.

Yes, they are what I used underneath the car as well. As far as HP rating, I really dont' know, I would suspect that they will flow a little better than stock and a lot of guys have used stock lines with better or dual pumps to about 700-800HP.

I plan on sticking with the -6 setup and I'll be doing about 400 rwhp n/a. I will be running stand alone fuel for the nitrous so that will help there. I plan on just getting about 6 ft of the stainless hose and just cutting and splicing underneath the car. I don't see any real need to go all the way back to the tank since they're the same size and I'm sure I'd run into implementation issues.

BTW, I was looking at using Summit SS hose, PN SUM-230606. It says
Summit stainless steel hose consists of a synthetic-nitrile inner tube with a partial stainless steel reinforcement inner braid.
Anyone know if that's just "rubber?" I want to slide my stockers in and clamp. Just wanna make sure.

I found some info later that nitrile is used in medical exam gloves so yeah, that's just rubber.

Hey guys...are those fittings from pure choice basically the same as the russel fittings? part number 640850 (3/8) and 640860 (5/16)

Here is a pic...and if they are the same, summit has them for 13.39.

dhdenney, when I bought the kit from Purechoice they told me to use Teflon lines (summit doesn't sell that stuff) b/c in a few years it would basically eat through the line. I don't know how True that is but thats what I heard?

Summit claims their line is good for methanol and nitro. Sounds good to me!

I am assuming the other set of fittings is for the bottom of the car. Looks like it all clips on then tighten down your -6 AN nuts. Only thing left is to delete the canister purge or find some way to maintain it. So yeah, that looks like it.

Well, that kit will work to connect at the fuel rail. But you need to use a double flare (45 degree) for the hard line. I called that place today, and he said that he could include two more of those fittings for the hard lines as well...as long as your hard lines have the same push on style fitting.

According to him the kit comes with two 30" pieces of teflon line. But they can make them shorter if you want them shorter.

PM me for the price he gave me...they arent a sponser and I dont want to post too much about em...

I wont be using this kit on my LS1...because Im going to relocate my EVAP...and just connect it with hose. And just make one braided line for the fuel feed. I just dont see any reason to put nice steel braided line on the evap. maybe for you LT1 guys...if you are using it for a return line.

like I said..PM me for the price of the kit..or give them a call. guy was pretty cool on the phone...seemed like he knew his ****.

30" pieces, eh? Is 30 inches the best to go from the hard lines to the fuel rail connection? Or, is that to little/to much? How much/long are the lines you guys have that already did this.

HEY n2oblkz : What kind of headers do you have in your photos???
