Went to put the balancer on and the damn thing won't line up it says it's for a 93-95 lt1 and can be made to work on 92 lt1 vettes mines a 97 z28. The fact that I'm using a dynaspark isn't the problem is it? And what's the difference in the 93-95 balancer versus 96-97? This car is really pissin me off

 

The 96/97 had the crankshaft position sensor wheel on the crank and made the balancer hub approx. .100 shorter.

 

Well there's the problem I apperciate the help this lt1 is taking me to a whole new level of anger and fustration!

 

well you just answered your own question. made for 93-95 not 96-97 (theres a reason they put that in the add)

 

I figured the place I bought it from would know the right part when you tell them 97 z28 and you spent roughly $10,000 with them and everything else else was right. Oh well **** happens, by the way snyper a video of your car would be nice if you got one.
