Default Which water pump?

Ok, my water pump decided to take a crap on me and now its leaking. I want to kno if its worth the extra cash to go with another factory water pump or to go with a pump from autozone or pepboys?

An electic water pump is good, but I don't like the fact that they only have one speed. No matter how fast your engine is turning. I've read about a few people overheating their cars because of it.

Cars only over heat if the car has a faulty part like a corroded radiator, air locked coolant system. I have had stock pumps and EWP and the car ran the same, the best the car did was after a new GM radiator installed, the other had pin hole leaks in her and let air in,

I been checkin into the EWP setup. I see theres different flow ratings. one flows 30-37gpm, another one flows 43gpm and theres one that flows 55gpm. which would suite me best for a DD and weekend track duty.

I went with a stock replacement over and electric since my car is still my dd, once I have a dd I'll be going electric though. On most or maybe just some sites that sell them I think they post a number of expected life hours.
