Default Coil dual connector plug

Help me out guys, I believe I'm going back to the single coil setup for the features. So anyway, in the car I have obtained, it had a Crane HI-6 already in the car. Nice right? Well I wanted the MSD Digital 6 again so I've bought one of those but I realize that someone has cut one of the connector plugs off and then spliced the other one into the universal harness on the Crane. I compared instructions from the Crane and the MSD to see if I could get by with the current setup wiring but it looks like I can't. Anyone know if you can buy these dual connector plug pigtails? Anyone have a PN? I need to look and see if I can find the wires in the harness.

The connectors that go to the factory style coil??? I replaced one, they can look it up for you at a GM dealership. They cost enough, I'll let you know that, ,I think it was around $35 for the one side.

Ewww **** fire and save the matches. I called Speartech and they said they would not sell plugs seperately. I have one side's plug but they completely eliminated the other side. I'll need the other one for the Digital 6.

Yeah I guess anything around that year might have the same setup. Problem is we don't really have that many options on the junkyards around here. Most of the ones I've bought from in the past are either out of business or are just selling wrecked cars only.

There are 2 F-body Yards within 10 miles where I am at here. They have Vettes also, that's where I got my block.

I am going up there next week looking for a LS1 Harness, PCM, and K-member. Got a guy that can wire a LS1 Harness into my LT1 car, basically plug in and go. Just gathering everything for a future project..

Although I think I might be able to get a coil connector, I have since received an e-mail from EFI Connection. They claim that their "TPI/TBI Coil Harness Coil to Distributor" will work on this page. http://www.eficonnection.com/eficonn..._pigtails.aspx Anyone konw any reason this would not work? I have never stripped the harness down to see where the wires go but evidently this looks like an independent version. I will have to examine further when I get down to my car again.

Maybe it will, is that the side you are missing? Depending on which side, or if I even remembered the price right, you might want to check with a dealership real quick. Might save you a little trouble incase its not going to work from efi connection.

I couldn't see in the picture too well if it looked like the connector.

Yeah I think it's the side I was looking for. I have looked at the Delteq for the last couple years and I can't remember what the actual stock setup looked like. I still have the gray connector so I think that would work. However, I would prefer to buy both of them, just to know that I got it right. I found another online retailer that looks like they have the pigtails, but I will double check with my dealer when they reopen on Tuesday. I wish I could just locate the whole damn LT1 harness, lol.

The gray connector is the main power feed to the coil. The black connector has the 12 volt feed and trigger wire that goes to the little module mounted next to the coil.

We are low enough on the gray connectors that I might get by with what's left to build the remaining LT1 harness orders we may get in the future, so I don't want to sell them separate.

If it's the black connector that you need, I'm well stocked on those and can sell you as many as you want for $10 each.

Yeah I double checked myself last night and I need the black one. I'll PM you if I can't get one here locally. I talked to that guy earlier and forgot to ask him about the connector, haha.

Oh, can I also buy a few other pigtails? I called one day and someone there said no.

We don't sell a lot of that kind of stuff. Let me know what you need and I'll see.

Looks like I'm going to need the black connector, cylinder head temp pigtail, MAP, and 1 O2. MAP and O2 are common so if I have to get those elsewhere then that won't be a problem. Have had no luck with cylinder head temp.

Not even at the dealership? I know napa usually has the cylinder head temp. Its stupid expensive though, like $15-20. I just crushed a crimp down so that it slid over the terminal in the sensor real tight and spliced it to the wire for it. Couldn't justify the cost of a plastic clip honestly.

Well..... checked everywhere but the dealer. I hadn't been up that way for some time now but I will probably be by there tomorrow (I work in a different town). I kinda wanted to buy them from somewhere else cuz I knew the dealer would be high. We don't have a NAPA either but seems like I checked at Auto Zone once and they only had the common ones.
