Intake elbow/nitrous questions
I am in the process of installing a new Trick flow elbow and nitrous kit on my LT1. The reason I am changing to the trick flow is because I currently have the Vortech elbow and I do not like the idea of the divider plate in the middle restricting nitrous flow. The question I have is what to do with the Opti vent line. Should I drill and tap a hole for it? Would I risk getting nitrous sucked into that tube? What has everyone with nitrous done in this situation?

i think you can actually run a little better set up. if you look at texas nitrous technologies in the sponsor column and i think they might sell the palte that goes behind the tb from the f1 kit. to me this would eliminate this risk and you dont have to do anything but run you nitrous lines to it. just my 2 pennies.

I haven't installed the opti vent line yet, but I was thinking of putting it in the hose for the Air pump. Anyone do this? Maybe you could put it there, I mean thats where the pump pulls air, I don't see why it wouldn't work.
I've been wondering where I should install my nitrous nozzle myself. I might go the plate route.

I don't know if you would want to buy my elbow. I had to cut it a bit shorter to work with my SLP intake. It does already have the hole drilled and tapped for the opti vent line fitting though.

Exactly why I do not want to put it in the elbow. I deleted my air pump some time ago, so unfortunately that is not an option. I do not feel like replacing my opti as stated above and the hose is currently just sitting in the engine compartment un-hooked. I need a quick and permanent fix. Any other ideas? Please?
