LS1 airbox

im putting a LS1 style intake on my LT1 car.... where does the air come in on those lids???

i have a predator hood so i know it will fit... i just need the base the lid and an airfilter correct???

and then somewhere to stick the sensor... rig up some kind of bellow right???

will the predator hood make any difference with the lid? will it feed air into it or no?

Do a search and you will find your answers in more detail... but to answer your question the air comes from the same air duct that goes to your rad but it draws the air just before the radiator if i remember correctly. your search will get you the rest of the answers.

Does it have the stock Hood, or any kind of Ram-air hood. I have a thread here where I did this to a stock Camaro Z28, with the stock Hood.

If you want flow through the Hood into a LS1 Lid Intake, that won't happen. Look at my pics there, you can see that it is all closed off, and sucks it up from the bottom.
