Wouldn't know with the information given. You don't know if your y-pipe is stock? Do you have headers??

And is the LT1 have stock headers?

I'm not sure if it's the lack of sleep, but your confusing the **** out of me. Is it your car that has the 3 inch y-pipe, or his? And you want your 3inch y-pipe to hook up to your friends stock manifolds?

First of all, no f-bodies have stock 3 inch y-pipes... someone else jump in.

I always say with a sawzall and welder you are only limited by your imagination. Yes with major surgery it'll fit like a glove otherwise not even close comparing the stock Ys side by side. LT1 Y is more like a ruptured K.

Good luck

Ok, no it won't fit

I don't see how your y-pipe is 3 inches stock. I thought they are all 2.5 inch.

Oh ok, I figured it was stock because I don't know why someone would replace the y-pipe if they have stock headers. The header collectors are not 3 inches, so you must have some custom work under the hood to fit that up right.

But anyways.. it doesn't matter what size it is, the y-pipes are different.

The Y for an LS1 isnt the same as LT1, the LS drivers side header comes out at an angle and the LT does not, you could get the Y to work however with some extra piping and a welder.

Good Luck.

Tony.

No, I'm talking about stock. The pacesetter y-pipe fit on ls1s or lt1s
