Default Wiper arms

A long shot question here....

Will windsheild wiper arms from the later LS F-Body fit the earlier LT F-Body?

From the parts listing:

windshield wiper arm (93-97), LH = 22155458
windshield wiper arm (93-97), RH = 22155459
windshield wiper arm (98-02), LH = 22154388
windshield wiper arm (98-02), RH = 22154389

The reason for my question, there seems to be way better wiper blades available for the later years.

I'm pretty sure the only difference in the wiper arms is that the LT1 cars had that plastic piece on them to help hold them on the windshield at high speeds and the LS1 cars didn't have it. I think the arms themselves are the same. I'm not sure why the wiper blades available would be different though. Those plastic pieces are removable. They just snap on and off.

There's this new Bosch Icon blade that looks really good, it works very well on other cars. The Bosch catalogue lists Icon blades that fit the later 98-02 F-Body cars. I bought them but they don't fit my '94. Expensive blade, $22 each at Autozone. I guess I'll have to find a '98 and up car and take a look at the arms and blade mounting point.

They don't fit because the hook is hooking upward as opposed to downward right?

I just bought them for my new lt1 t/a and I don't think they'll work. Anyone else with the Bosch Icon on an lt1?

WOW, is this an old thread!

Long ago, I changed to the LS car arms, they fit. They do not have the airfoil on them but I have very happily been using the Icon blades.
