Default Just returned from Iraq...time to spend some $$$..but need info...

I have a 94 Z28 M6. I'm wanting a Procharged 383 in the end. I need good things to search for or just answers to the questions. Thanks.

1. Best 383 kit for daily driver....pistions..crank...etc.
2. What other internal upgrades with 383 kit are needed?
3. I want a pretty lopey cam...no real need for high rpm power...low/mid is fine suggestions??
4. Head suggestions...new?? or send off the stockers....?
5. What kind of PSI can I run with forged 383? Low comp. pistons? 12-15PSI?
6. High HP with 4.10's stock rearend = problems??
7. Freshly rebuilt T-56 w/upgraded 3-4 fork....handle this kind of power??
8. Adjustable torque arm?? or non.....may see track a few times a year...
9....I'll need major suspension upgrades too I'm sure...but those questions can wait.

Thanks guys

Glad that another soldier made it home safely. Thank you for doing what you do for the country..

as far as the car and question #3..if you plan to get a supercharger make sure you don't buy an off the shelf cam. You can get custom grind blower cams once you decide your whole setup.

Lots of ways to go about reaching your end goal.

Here are some people/companies I would trust my car with.

www.canadianperformance.com Dave DiLuca can build a VERY stout motor and he will put together a setup that works for you and your goals. Dont be scared he is in Canada either, shipping isnt but maybe 15% then a stateside company.

www.exoticperformanceplus.com Bob is the man when it comes to FI, definatly give him a call, email, or PM he can get you started with ease.

As for your rear, your going to break that pretty quick with an M6, Sticky tires and the power level you are mentioning.

Good Luck

Tony.

Be ready to spend roughly 20K+! Trust me I know I just got done doing the exact same thing but went overboard w/ it. I eclipsed that number.

7-13K on the engine depending where you go. Save the $ send the stk heads

4-6K for the blower if you buy used or new and size too I'd go w/ Bob from Epp hurry up before Feb's price hike from ATI if that's the blower you decide

1K for your fuel system needs

800.00 for FMIC kit from Bob (it's a good deal IMO) some custom fabbin required since it's intended for LS1's but nothing serious and will set ya back 30 bucks top's for the fabbin.
ECU? You have a little wiggle room being a 94 w/ LT1 Edit. Don't know what they run in terms of price.

Get some bigger brakes no sense in going fast if you can stop that speed.
Tranny 2-5K and rear 2.5K--that's a 5K setback right there IF you rebuild the tranny yourself. If not make it 6K or even 7K if you are going G-Force.

1-2K for susp depending on brand and DIY.

Welcome back glad you made it out there safely!

Yeah you'll be able to run pump gas but you may or may not get to eek out the most psi with it. I've seen some guys run close to 21psi on pump gas but they are the exception. Meth is the answer for others and is something I'm considering as well to cool the charge but I won't use it for max hp like many do.

Don't forget that there was a thread on here a little while back that listed some of the vendors that give discounts to servicemen and women.
See if you can find it to get a list of vendors...more bang for your buck.

Edit: Found the thread.
