Default ls1 swap

I have a 95 formula with 163k miles and a tranny that grinds fifth....could i put an ls1 in it like this 1

I dont see any reason why you, couldnt. Does the Ls1 come with the ecm?

yes you can, you can do a full swap, you could put an LS2 in it also and get more HP.

need a new k-member the hardest thing will prolly be the wiring harness swap at least to me it would be

+1...when i was considering the swap everyone told me its a PITA...my advice..save your money then sell your lt1 and buy a ls1 if you really want one..

My true advice is keepp the LT1..a dying breed!!!

Actually I have been looking into it as well..I have found a few things that work nicely, as far as the Fuel Rails that are needed, and a Company that builds a direct Plug-in Harness to run the LSX Motor. PM me if you want more info on the research that I have done so far.
I am looking into building a 400CID LS2. That will be a sleeper car..
