maybe your cam stops making power after 6k. check the rpm power range on your cam. you're dyno tuner will be able to tell where you cam stops making power and then adjut your shift points accordingly.

Yea, is there anything done to the Engine? Stock Cam it's going to fall on it's face at 6000 RPM. Also, is it tuned for them RPM's, the Tranny can be adjusted to shift very nicely for them RPM's.

have a zz-409 cam from tpis 226 in ex 555lift in ex 3500 stall. In park when i rev the engine it red lines at 6300 or 6600 not sure but doesent do that thing. Dont want to drive all the way to the dyno shop and have him tell me you need to fix something on the tranny. So i dont think it would be the cam. kind of hard to explain but seems like if the tranny may be slipping other friends tell me that need to dyno computer doesent know what is going on at such high rpms

Could be it needs tune adjustments, or the Tranny is slipping.
