Default LS6 injectors in an LT1?

I just upgraded my stock injectors out of my 01' Z06 to a set of 42lb injectors and was wondering if the stock LS6 injectors would work for my 95 z28 project build?

Would they even flow more than the stock LT1 injectors since they are running at different rail pressures?

I would run a set of SVO injectors if I were you.....not real sure but I thought LSx and LTx injectors were not interchangeable

I was just thinking since SVO's can be run in either an LTx or LSx that they might work.

I don't see what the difference is in the LT and LS Injectors. I have seen them both side by side, and they are the same, and the plugs also. Not saying go with it, never tried it.

I think the lsx injectors might be rated for less flow, I can't remember.

Did you get new O-rings with them?

No I didn't I ended up selling the ls6 36 lb injectors and buying a set of Racetronix 37 lb injectors for the LT1.
The o-rings didn't look worn, if I installed them on the fuel rail with the locks (I think I had locks, it was a while ago) and tried to get them to seal down to the intake the o-rings sat out of the injector bung and even when pushing them in the'd pull back out. Just my luck that they dudn't fit I sold them for a good price to somone with a ls1 off on of the boards.

Aren't the LT1 injectors rated at 24lbs with a rail pressure in the 45 psi range? The LS6's are rated at 58 psi or so.

yeah IIRC that's lsx fuel pressure. I think you need to make a groove all the way around on the lsx injectors in order to be able to use the injector clips to get them to stay in the fuel rail.

I rember reading somewhere that it wasent the flow, but it was the impeadence of the injector.

Yes, you are correct. Most ls1 injectors are actually slightly smaller than the stock LT1 injectors.

LT and LS injectors are 12 ohm injectors.
