PCM question
If the Caprice was from a LT1 engine and it's from the same year, it should work, AFAIK. A 95 computer might work as well, but I'm not sure about all of the connections. Should be the same.
You have to have it tuned.I bought a 94 z28 that had a caprice pcm in it.I didnt know it was a caprice pcm untill I took it off and it was wrote on the back like it came from a junk yard.But the car was a dog with the pcm.Everything was messed up the speed-o was off the shift points were way early it had no timing advance, ect.I ordered one from autozone and used the caprice pcm as a core return.Now the car runs like it should.It went form maybe a 15 second car to running 13.90 at 100mph. If you have it tuned then they will have to know that its off the caprice so all the little **** can be changed.Autozone pcm was around $120.00 after core return.
