I had the SRPs but they dont like anything more than a 175 or so shot of juice. I have now ordered a custom set of Wiseco's so I shouldnt have any issues with the pistons anymore. So yeah if your just going to keep the shot mild then the SRPs will work fine if your wanting to go for a bigger shot a little later I would look into a set of customs from JE, Wiseco, Diamond, or Ross.

I would have to agree with everyone else i think it is the selection of parts especially the heads and rockers. Also the cp is not helping at all

needs a point or two on the compression, i'd recommend calling Advanced Induction for the heads/cam/intake, they could set you up with an awesome setup built for your wants and needs. some of their stuff makes serious numbers, and really good track results, and they are serious about your interests.

Its an automatic 4l60 with a vigilante 3800 9" convertor, that actually will not lock once the trans is warm(problem with trans not convertor, does it no matter what stall I put in it), so thats part of my problem on the street. Im running TSP true duals(3") fed by hooker long tubes, so exhaust is definitely not the problem. Doesn't do too bad at the track, considering all the motor issues. 11.95's all day long, but I was just looking at my time slips, only bout 112.0 mph average, this is all motor by the way. The hot cam car runs damn good, for what it is. Hotcam, 3000 stall, mid length headers into flowmasters exhaust, MSD opti, and a mail order tune turning 12.6's all day, at about 106 I believe(like I said, not too far behind my 383). So I've decided to swap out pistons(9.8 to bout 11.5), going with the heads/intake setup from ET performance(get rid of bottleneck setup on car now), and the cam is still up in the air. Possibly a custom grind for what I want out of the car. I'm hoping for 11.20's or so all motor, which I think is easily possible considering the mismatched setup I am running now which has already landed me a few 11.8 second passes without the bottle and with poor traction(high 1.7 60 foot times). The traction issue is hopefully out the window as I replaced most of the suspension as well as the wheels/tires combo. Ohh, and I'm gonna swap the 1.5's for some 1.6's. Any other suggestions for me?? By the way, thanks for all the input!!
