Burning left O2 sensor?

Burning left O2 sensor? I have a friend that has an lt1 tans am, the car is cammed and all bolt on and he lenghted the left o2 sensor wire soldered the wires and heatshrinked and all, and evertime he washes the car or gets it wet it burns the o2 sensor?

Check, double check, and triple check the wiring. Get one of the blown ones and stick it in the header like you would normally have it, wash the car, and pull the sensor and see if you can find out which part is wet.
Its most likely the wiring. Did he extend the vehicle harness or extend the o2's pigtail? The pigtail wiring on O2's is usually coated in some sort of waxy crap that doesnt allow solder to stick well. Ive actually had it stick from what I could tell, then let go later.
