Default LS1 Y-pipe on LT1?

If a LT1 has Pacesetter long tubes and the Y-pipe is a pacesetter off a LS1 could the Y-pipe be put on the LT1 without problems? Please help...I need it.

My friend said that he saw one that worked with some modificats. I believe he had to cut part of the driver side pipe and just open up the ends a little bit to slip over the LT's. IMO id rather go with a ORY prefabbed, or custom made cuz the LS1 y-pipe has that pinch in it which I dont think works so well.

here's a pic of the LS1 y-pipe and a PS ORY
