Default Where is it leaking from?

I know that it's extremely hard to tell without having the car in the air, but these are photos of the LT1 underside that I'm looking to buy.

It's an oil leak, but hard to tell where from. The guy "SAID" that it doesn't use any oil, but this is what I saw when I got down and checked out. The car runs strong. There's not studder or anything at WOT.

163K on body... new motor at 100K. It has the stock chip and a modified chip.

Maybe you guys might know....

Here are photos of the rest of the car...

my oil leak is from the intake manifold. i read about it and gm made the sealant weak and it happens by the emissions tube in the back of the manifold gets hot and expands the bolt holding the manifold on one side. bolt gets looser and the sealant gets weaker than the pressure finds the weakest point and breaks through and oil leak starts. put you hand behind the manifold on the passenger side of the car. feel around by the head and around there if you feel oil its the back of the intake manifold leaking. its most common place. if not check front of the intake manifold for leak, oil level sensor also. it also can be the main seal.

Is repairing that manifold leak an easy fix? I remember how easy it was to get the LS1 manifold off. I'm sure this one is a little more involved.

well its not hard just time consuming. you will need to disconnect the sensor and put them aside. disconnect the fuel line so you can take off the fuel rails with the injectors.

when you do it and you are all done let the car sit for 12 hours at least so the new sealant can harden and you wont have the problem again

That's the Intake Manifold leaking, betya it's all over the Tranny Bell Housing also. When that happens, it goes everywhere, mine was the same way when I dropped the Engine. Rear Main Seal leak would be coming out the bottom of that little Shield bolted to the bottom of the Tranny.

That's a hardtop car too..don't see too many of them around.

I don't know if the 93's have it or not, but mine did the same thing from the oil level sender
