how bad is the damage? If it's not too bad buy it back(probably pick it up CHEAP) and have it fixed or do the work yourself. Any pics of the damage? If it's all outter body panels(minus back quarters) it just all bolt on stuff. They are easy to work on. Find the parts sand 'em and put 'em on then have somebody pain it. You could buy it back for MAYBE $2,500 and fix it for another $2k then you have $2k left over for goodies. Don't let another go to the junk yard. It's getting sad and also hard to find nice LT1's around anymore. ~Cole~

They quoted the damage at $5,700, and most of the damage is on the rear quarter panel. They said i could but it back for $1,250 but i dont think it will be worth it. There was also some front end work that would need to be done, like a tie rod and maybe a new steering rack. I will get some pictures on monday and post them up.

You could part the car out and easily make that money back. If I were you I'd look into it.

I live at an apartment complex and i also work full-time so it wouldn't really be feasible. If somebody local wants it and can have towed form Norman Fred Chevrolet by tues i would let them take it $1250.

Sorry to hear about the wreck... I was just about to post how much nicer your paint was as compared to mine. Hell, I've got spider web cracks all along my hood, and since mine is a '93 I don't even know if it has enough clear to fix it.

At least the cash back is enough to find another damn nice LT1 if that's what you still want.
