anyone know where i can pick up the dye that will allow me to pinpoint my leak?

Go to the chevy dealership in your area they should have some, I know I have them on the shelf for 10 BUCKS. Then get a black light and see where the leak is.

yeah..

but does anyone know where i can get that dye? I know the dealer can do it, just curious as to if i can get it cheaper somewhere else

or you can check, the valve covers, the back of the intake, or the oil filter adapter. Usually the most common leaks on lt1s
