I understand what daniel is saying and it makes sense. Better top mph with 2.73, better low mph with 4.10
Though I really got to ask, who races up to 140 anyways unless your car is in the single digits

I dont see the type of auto trans listed but have to assume an 4L60E with the 3.06/1.63/1 gearing. But looking at the graphs then the 4.10 ratio is the winner to 100mph. Why is the 3.73 so popular if the 4.10 is faster?
Yes, when I was in the 700+ RWHP range some would ask what kind of mileage do you get? Even at that I was getting in the low 20's on the hi way
HP doesn't hurt economy the way most assume. Sure it hurts when you are deep in the pedal but normal driving not so much.
