Headers for a 396 LT4, what to do with?...

Headers for a 396 LT4?... So, i've got my 396 back from the shop, and ready to go back into the engine bay, and started it once it's all hooked up. The problem i'm running into is I want to get some better headers then the ones I have, dynatech with removable collectors, and i've heard a few different things about a few different brands. I was looking at getting some coated pacesetters, but was told they wouldn't be large enough with the size of engine I have and the amount of power it's projected to produce. The pacesetters are 1 3/4's, where as i've been told to look at some 1 7/8's instead. Any ideas on this, and brands to look at?
