Ultra Z Help!!!!!
Ultra Z Help!!!!! Sooooo, who here has ever tried to make an ultra z hood functional on an Lt1? I heard that if you put a 93-97 firebird airbox on it, it could possibly work....maybe. What do you guys think?

The ultra Z thing is done by SLP. They sell a complete airbox kit (seperately) to go with the hood and it will fit/work. I haven't seen it in person but, in pictures the Ultra Z hood would allow that firebird airbox to fit (its almost the same thing as the Ultra Z airbox setup). Also, that oval shaped K&N filter (I think its the one vettes would use) would fit as well.
I've had an interest in the Ultra Z hood for a while but, haven't seen an LT1 with it in person to really get a good look and see if I like it for sure. The Sunoco hood is my fav for now.
