Taller slicks, skinny front tires and QA-1's got that combo to go 11.6 to 11.7 on the 100 shot.

Nitrous likes compression, the Trickflows on a stock shortblock drop compression.
Those who try to use stock castings and have them ported by a reputable shop usually have pretty good results.

best results for the $$$$$ stock ported heads/intake with custom cam. Less than 2K. Will be in the 390's to 400 + RWHP with the supporting mods. I have 195 AFR's makeing good decent power, but like I said for the $$$$ Stock ported. Keep your compression high... you do not want to drop it... well at least not below stock, nitrous likes high compression as stated above

The nitrous comment in their description I take to mean as a thicker deck for use on built nitrous motors like motors sniffing as much HP in just spray as your whole motor makes.
Swapping to them to run nitrous on a stock shortblock would be foolish. As was already covered nitrous likes compression and even with a thin gasket those will drop compression below stock on a stock shortblock.

For the money, stock ported heads and a good custom cam is hard to beat, throw some nitrous on top of that and you have a budget build that'll threaten 10's with the proper set up

Anyway, plenty will have opinions but for a stock motor if you slap on a set of heads that lower your compression than you need to plan accordingly around the rest of the combo. Just saying your going to do heads/cam and nitrous doesn't end tha show.
