Are you "Sweet96TA" on Camaroz28.com by any chance? The intake looks really nice. As as far as "cleaning up the little pits," it's a lost cause. It's called "porosity." (Air bubbles in the casting.) The more you sand, the more you'll uncover. It's a heartbreaker to have to put up with that after all that work, I know.

I'm glad you posted that thread here, because I've posted pics of stuff I've polished in the Appearance section before and LT1's get no respect in there. You'd think it would be the other way around since we have to work 3X harder to make our engines bling seeing as how we don't have a crapload of polished aftermarket parts at our disposal...

Yeah thats me, that used to be my name here but I changed it and since im not on camaroz28 as much, I left it.

^True. We also don't have coil packs hiding our valve covers or plastic intake manifolds.

Let me know how your Canton valve covers fit. Mine were a niightmare to put on and didn't clear the alternator.

I have heard of some people putting them on with no problems and some who had a horrible time. That wont be happening for a while so Ill let you all know then.
