Freshly Installed cc503 --video!!

Hey guys, I finally got my cam done. We did it last weekend, I went with the cc503 224/230 112 lsa.

I also put in some Comp Cams 1.6 pro mag roller rockers, Hardened 7.2" pushrods, comp 986 springs, gmpp guideplates, new timing chain and gears, msd cap and rotor.

Everything turned out great! I love how it sounds, how it pulls, everything.

Off road y pipe
Hooker Cat Back
QTP E-Cutout
Moroso CAI

thats awesome. I like it with the cutout closed better (just my opinion) and I cannot wait to get my formy up because i ahev almost the same exact mods andthe same cam.

personally i like it better with it open, sounds alot meaner especially the lope at idle.

I got the same cam also! Gotta love the sound with the cutout open since I never close mine either! Have you got it tuned yet? Sound like the idle is a little high.

Sounds good man, You can almost hear it lope with the cutout open. I guess the video doesnt do it justice.

I had my 503 cammed 96 tuned by pcm for less and had really good luck with it. Get some nitrous and that car will really move!

I had madz28 tune mine too. We lowered the idle a little to 700rpm so it would really chop while it idled. He did an awesome job on the tune too! Just be sure to mention that you want to lower the idle or he will leave it at the stock range. You can search my threads and see how mine sounds, I made like 3 different posts with vids.

Sounds good! I have the same cam in my stroker, but it doesn't lope as much in my stroked engine. I have my idle set at 1100 though because i am having issues with my car dieing at start up.
