You are probably ok, but it would be a good idea to fix that soon.
It's not overly difficult, just try not to spill all the coolant on the optispark.
Consider upgrading to an electric water pump while you are at it.

well if you are going to go through the trouble of pulling off your pump you might as well get a new opti, the opti doesnt fail because the water pump leaks, it fails because it corrodes due to being leaked on, so it might be fine right now but in a few months after it has corroded you will have to pull everything back off and reinstall a new opti.

Just the WP and those hoses that connect to it.

a lot more than that, you have to take off the crank pulley, and take off the air pump and let it hang, then there is a metal bracket behind the air pump that has to come off so you can get to the last bolt on the water pump, its not difficult it is just time consuming.

Uh ... no ...
Why on earth would you take the crank pulley and AIR pump off?

Radiator stays in, just have to remove one fan (4 bolts) and modify the shrowd.

well considering i just pulled out my water pump to do this exact same install i had to pull off the crank pulley and air pump to get to all of the bolts on the drivers side. Otherwise there was no way to get the water pump out without taking that stuff off. But hey your welcome to try and fail without taking the pulley and air pump off.

Done it many times.
The crank pulley only comes off when you need to get to the timing cover.
The rest of the bolts are easily accessible using a socket wrench and 3" extension.

Anyone tried an AIRTEX Part # AW5068? This new pump is ~$80 (RockAuto, Northern Auto Parts, etc).
