what happens if you do it like the cam makers say?

20minutes at 2000 RPMS

couldnt i bump that to 20 minutes at 3000rpms?

I dont think that applies to a roller cam

I let mine do a few heat cycles about 75 miles worth. The first 50 or so miles were under 4000 rpm 1/2 to 3/4 throttle........let it cool all the way off. Drove it another 15 miles getting on it heavy to around 6900 rpms and 110 mph runs ....let it cool all the way off.....changed to mobil 1 syn and beat the living hell out of it. I have awesome psi on all cylinders and it runs like a some of a bitch.....

Do you think nascar breaks in their engines?
how about nhra?
