yup something is not right and its hidden. how can it be with that setup i cant hit 12s? you would expect that for that to happen the problem would be easy to spot. however it is a mystery to why the car is such a turd. and that was 13.2s with mickeys on.

Something is wrong. My car went 13.5 with free mods and Mickeys at 1,000 foot elevation. Granted it's a Firehawk but that's only ram air and a catback.

What is your Cam, and Compression Ratio?
I am damn near mid 12's with my Car, if not quicker with my ET Streets, and that is just a Hotcam Kit and Port-matched Heads on a 350CI LT1.

well my cam is a 224/236 111lsa. my compression ratio is supposed to be 10:1 but I'm getting a gage and will check it this week. i have never checked the compression ratio i just took for granted that it was what it was supposed t be. maybe when i cracked a piston way back when and had the engine built to a 355 something wasn't done right. because this car has never performed the way it is supposed to.

can i check compresion with datamaster or will it have to be done manually because getting all the plugs out is going to be a biatch.

is the car an m6 or auto? a decent cam, catback, no cats, and intake should get you there with a good driver on an m6 or stalled auto. 4.10's wouldn't hurt either.

Bolt ons, stall (if auto), gears, and good tires

usually a normal driver from my experience can't get an lt1 into the 12's without a cam or nitrous. If you look at a lot of people on this forum with all the boltons they are usually all in the 13's besides the few that can actually drive into the 12's. I couldn't get mine into the 12's with out my cam and then almost to the 11's with nitrous. And from my experience if all you want is 12's headers are not needed. All my runs were with stock manifolds and stock y-pipe.

I ran 12.8s on the stock 3.23 gear and WS6 wheels up front, running on a old used set of Nittos.

again i would have broke into the 11's with more traction with just a catback, cam, gears, and 125 nitrous. i had a total of $1000 in my car in aftermarket parts.
