Default Got the new stuff in..

Got the Tranny back yesterday after spending about $1150 on that and other various things. They installed a Beast Sunshell, B&M Clutchpacks, Racing Band, freshened up all of the other parts, and installed a Transgo HD2 Shift Kit setup for street. It also got a 2000RPM Stall out of a Corvette, I am keeping it decently streetable, the new setup will be built. I have my line pressures boosted, so I don't know how that will go yet.
The problem with the old one was that the Planatary had shattered where it connects to the Output Shaft, the Intermediate Sprag was in about 50 pieces, and 2nd, 3rd, 4th Gear had burned up. Some of that had been wrond with it for a while I guess and it still worked fine, but when it busted the Gears out thew back, that is when it tore apart. I am putting it in the Car, and running directly to a B&M Super Cooler. I am setting up the Rear tomorrow, so as soon as my UMI Suspension comes in, it will be back together.

Never ending process...expecially when you have some extra money. Most of this will be good until I build my 408 L92, then I am going to a built LSX 4L60E, Moser 9" Rear. I can use the same internals from this Tranny, so that will save me a little bit of money.

I still want to see your car make a clean pass on the new motor. Maybe a 12 flat?

This new LT1, or the 408?
The LT1 will be about mid 12's, that 408 will be low 11's easily.., especially with how light I am.

If I had a bigger Stall it would be close to that. If I got the one that I wanted, it would be right there. Mid 12's with pretty much everything close to stock is still really good for the Hotcam, that's why I want to build up that 408, that car would fly..
