What happens when the opti spark goes bad? How does the car act? What will the hypertech programmer do vs. getting the pcm reflashed? How would i know if the cars pcm has been reflashed already?? cause the engine light rarly comes on. and the car runs but like i said has a miss. you can clearly hear the camshaft. Will the car run with a stock tune?

 

All I can tell you is when my opti went bad it would misfire and at high rpms it would fire cylinders way out of time and idle like ****. Plus it would have a ton of detonation when accelerating.
