Porting the MAF can only result in a gain on a stockish motor if the tuning was off to begin with and porting happened to screwup the MAF reading to where it actually improved the AFR.

Most tuners are just too nice to tell you you screwedup when you ported it.

If someone got 402 out of that cam on stock heads either it was a spike and not a true reading or was maybe an engine dyno not chassis dyno.
I have graphs for my old cam only setup indicating 509rwtq, doesn't mean it was accurate.

It's Sad to see some of these LT1's making 315-320 cam'd. I made 314hp & 342tq with bolt ons.

I agree to a point but you need to consider Mustang vs. dynojet and A4 vs. M6 those are two details that will have signifigant impact.

What is even sadder is I have seen guys post 320-330 for strokers and for people to pretend that is acceptable.

Living in denial is a bitch sometimes. I guess people don't want to face reality.

well i guess ill just have to live with the maf for now until i get to the dyno and see what they can do or say..... and if i were a guessin man id say i was already at low 300's before i started this project based on how surprisingly quick the car actually was with my bolt-on combo so hope to pick up around 40-50 with the cam and full roller top-end, only dyno will tell....it's an m6 by the way.....and if i ever get a stroker and push anything under 400 someone is gettin a beatdown hehe

just out of curiousity.....why do they sell aftermarket maf's if a ported maf is bad for the car, i mean they're basicly the same right.... you think no one would by that crap then right?
