Post Lt-1 Dud.

Please Help, Ive Tried Everyhting.ok Please Read, I Bought A 94 Formula Lt-1 6 Speed, Power Everyhting. It Has The Lt-4 Hot Car, Ported Polished, From Day On Eof Buying This Car, Ive Had Nothing But Nightmares, It Runs When Ever It Wants To, Ive Replaced The Opti,injectors,manafolds,its Been To 6 Shops, 2 In Florida, 4 In Indiana, Nobody Can Tell Me Whats Wrong With It. Before The Computer Got Stolen Out Of It At A Shop, It Would Cut Out When Ever, Just Die, Sometimes It Would Start Up Some Times It Would Take Time, But It Always Started Up 2 Minutes Or 2 Hours Or Days. Then The Pc Gets Stolen, I Get Another And Have It Reprogramed, And Now The Car Wont Fire To Fixt The First Problem, Im Tired Of Thowing Parts, Has Any Body Ever Had This Problem? Ive Replaced Just About Everything Now.

my guess is either a wiring problem or the relay's are kickin' out. Check all the fuses and relays. Turn the car on and listen if any are kickin' out. Get a wiring schematic of the car and check ALL the GROUNDS. The mess with a lot when they get loose or corroded. That's all i can do for ya, hopefully you get it fixed. ~Cole~

When you had the new PCM reprogrammed, did you have the VATS disabled?

im about to cut it up. how hard and where is a place to get a ressonable clutch, i got pissed and broke this one.

i took it to pontiac to have it reprogramed, they said they were the only ones that could do it, the factory alarm is not in it, the kid took it out.

all the shops that have had the car, have put it on the computer, its said to be an interminet ( sp 0 problem, some said it was the opti spart, im told it can be the key chip, im tired , ive had this car almost 3 years and put 1500 miles on it to date.

When you turn the key in the ignition, does it try to crank at all or is it completely dead?

yeah if it's the VATS(key chip) you can bypass it for about $10. Find out what key number you have, get the resistor value that the key is and wire it up. If you think it's the problem you have i can give you my links. I have a TON of info on it as i had the same problem with my VATS.
