I got the GMPP LT4 Extreme Duty Full Roller Set, got a good deal on it and threw it in. Haven't had a problem with it.

thing is you a have 95 and a vented opti. i can't use a double roller unless i have a EP,newer opti, timing cover, and change out gears. so i'm not spending all that money for it. just looking for a good single roller.

How many stock chains have you seen break?
Everybody loves to hate the stock timing sets but I see no reason for it.
That said I think Lunati makes what you are looking for.

Summit LUN-93094 $188.39

I don't know what a stock unvented timing set runs but the vented is like $60-70 last I checked.

I put a new stock timing set on when I did my cam swap and I haven't had issues. I was in the same boat as you with my non-vented opti (which was fairly new).

Just go the factory replacement route from an online GM Parts Dealer and you'll be in good shape.

Like the guy above said -- have you ever heard of a factory timing set breaking? I've been running it for over two years on my cammed car, and the past 8 months with Nitrous and I haven't had any issues at all.

It sucks the options are limited for us non-vented guys

I bought the Lunati one and it looks just like a stocker. I don't know where the upgrade is?

I second the stock replacement. $40 was the ticket for me.

nope have not come across any breaking timing chains. in the pic of the Lunati i can't see any difference either. sounds like i should just take all of your guys word and get a new stock one. plus my car never see's the track and will only be driven on the weekends or here and there. guess i should have not threw away my stock chain . oh well my dyno tune i got was the end of my stock motor because they had no clue what they were doing. so maybe the timing chain might have been made weaker who knows?

still like to see more responses on using the stock timing chain.

I went with a Lunati chain, its a GM sprocket but Lunati chain, After taking my motor apart I had the same amount of slack as a stock chain, I was kinda suprised.

The catalogues get confused because in 94 the b-bodies got the vented opti but the f-bodies and Vette got the 93 style unvented. So when looking for a timing set consider looking yours up as a 93 to avoid confusion.
