Default Problem with LE2 TA

I have a 97 WS6 with the LE2 heads, cam and intake package. I went to some street races and had a good nite , but the problem came when i started it the next day. It sounded a little different when I first started it up, but when I get on it a little bit it sounded like it had a bad exhaust leak. It also had alot less power and was missing, like I was running on 7 cylinders or something. I was wondering what this could be and what could be done to fix it. Any help would be appreciated.

possibly a header leak. You may also need to check your springs and rockers.

first thing that comes to mind is plug wire if it really feels like it's only firing on seven cylinders. i had that problem one day. i cranked the car to go to a cruise in and it sounded different but nothing major then i got going down the road and it was running like ****. came back home after the cruise in and i had burnt through one.

Agreed.

Pull the plugs and make sure none of them are fouled (caused by a rich or lean condition) and check the full length of all the wires for cracks or burns in them. If it is still not running right, then I'd probably pull the valve covers and check the rockers and springs, probably readjusting them at zero lash.

I'm going to put my money on a burnt plug wire too though.
