Default Driver side temp sensor?

Whenever i go to autozone/o rielys/ napa they get me a temp sensor but its the wrong one......is there something special for this sensor?

What is wrong about the one they give you?

Personally, I get my sensors straight from GM.

its the wrong fitting for the plug.

They probably gave you the temp sensor from the waterpump,common mistake. Pays to buy from dealer.

Wells TU152 Autozone, but should be the same at all of them. You are looking for a temp switch that is why you keep getting the wrong sensor

yea, the temp sensor for the gauge is on the head, the temp switch for the computer is in the water pump.

And just a tip, dont buy electronics from AZ, Wells makes the cheap appliances for WalMart
