not a fan of those vents personally, but it's pretty nice looking.

Only? Wow didn't look at the price. Wonder what it weighs? My VFN 3" ss hood is 16 lbs, about 19 with the hardware Vs. 52 lbs stock hood.

Think I paid about $600 shipped.

wow, you lost 36lbs goin to a glass hood huh?!?! Didnt think our hoods were that much. Its not the biggest hood by any means! now my IROC hood weighed about as much as a mack truck!

i honestly think it looks kinda cool. i dont see rice in it. lots of muscle cars have vents like that in the hood

id sport it if it didn't have the louver things and i'd have to paint it. i like the weight loss tho. to save $800 tho i would just take my hood off. lol at myself. i too much last night.

I could wish that I had one of these. The functional vents are pure race if applied to a performance LT1, not a DD thing and not just cosmetic. Great for getting the heat out with headers, HP, sprayed or forced induction engines. If they fit well I hope they sell a bunch.

its just like the dgmotorsports hood except for the vents which a remind me of one of those mecham hoods for the birds. dont like it or dislike it consider me indifferent.

yes, interesting...not a fan of purely cosmetic pieces, but it does have a functional aspect to it, three, i guess. it's too bad that jap crap or ricers, if u prefer, has given carbon fiber such a bad reputation among us muscle car fans. it is really great stuff, and can obviously be functional; it's what F1 cars are made of. long live Schumi!!!

no ****, thats awesome!! what keeps the stock shocks from tossing the hood over the roof?? If they can lif thea heavy *** stocker, does it cause any issues with the lightweight glass hood?

Well either im really strong or our hood doesnt weigh over 50 pounds. I removed my hood by myself and it felt SOOOOO light. I would get the SS hood but ill be buying a spoiler first...

Yah Im pretty sure they dont weigh 50 pounds it didnt seem to be that heavy when I was carrying it, its alot heavier than my harwood but I dont think its quite 50 pounds Im guessing between 30-40.

I'd love to have those vents on a normal Firebird hood back up against the cowl like that, but in the recessed area in-line with the front faux vents.
