Default valvetrain help

I got a 383 ready to go in my car but i need to up grade some stuff. I am going to run a cc305. it has a .510 lift. I was wondering what lifters, pushods, and springs should i run.

You could go off a bunch of opinions in here, much of which is very experienced, but I'd recommend you call Crane or Comp and get the right combo from those guys, especially for a moderate cam like that. Is that less aggressive than the cc306? The 306 & GM847 are very very close profiles and have seen those run in 383's, but didn't even realize they made a 305, just curious.

it has 220/230 at .50 lift so it is quite a bit smaller then those other two cams

damn dog...why not go with one of the others at least? You have a STROKER now man!!! The 847 or 306 would be baby cams in a stroker and the 305 sounds really small. NOt saying you need to go solid roller or anything ridiculous, just maybe little bigger than a 305 I would think since it's a fresh new build, start out thumpin good. Not knocking your build at all, it's awesome your stroked just think you'd be happier with a little bigger hyd cam on that 383.

Yeah dude go bigger. I messed up. I have the 230/236 dur .544/.555 lift on my 383, even though I am making good power I could be making a lot more.
