coil ???

do coils sometimes get weak or do they just go out??

when a coil is going bad, after getting hot its spark starts to get weak. but I dont see why it wouldnt be weak from the get go, if its bad and electronic there is really no one way they can go bad.

I have an Accel LT1 super coil sitting on my parts shelves if you want it PM me

I have had a coil get week, but it took years and alot of miles to get week on a stock build.

In answer to your question, yes, they can go weak. But it is not the norm, usually they just go out and you get no spark. But that is rare as well.
