Default lt1 block shipping question

I am possibly selling a block to an interested party... 2 bolt main
i believe it is a 95 block.

a few questions i have is are the block themselves physically similar between non vented opti years and the vented ones?

what is changed if anything?

how much do theses go for typically?

and what is the easiest/cheapest way to ship these?

I just shipped a shortblock through www.saia.com for $323.

From Idaho to Florida.

Get a small pallet, ratchet straps and saran wrap the **** out of the engine

Tony.

to my understanding the only diffrance is the optispark, the block is the same. and from what I can tell the bare block weighs 160.00 lbs, that is no main caps or barring shells, rods, slugs, cam, crank, heads, intake, no nothing. but I used an old scale. I hope that the block does not weigh that much, cause I have two to spare and 1 is up for sale on this site.
