if it's 1500 degree engine paint its going to burn off unless you have it baked on there. i bought pacesetter mids and they came with black paint, so i had them sandblasted and i painted them with 1500 degree engine paint and it all burned off within 2 hours. im not underminding you, i just dont want you to go through the same thing i did.

Tips:

Get some PB Blaster and soak all the bolts and a couple different lengths of pipes to put on your ratchets for leverage. Get the whole car off the ground, not just the front. Tape up the fenders with painters masking tape so you don't scratch them up from leaning over the car and tape the strut towers too.

The studs on the header flange? I snapped 2/3 on each side. Don't worry if you break them. All you can do it is:
-1/2 inch ratchet with extension
-pipe around ratchet for leverage
-or leave it attached and cut the y-pipe as far up as possible.

And for the header bolts. Tiniest ratchet, swivels, or ratcheting wrenches.

If you are have problems getting the socket on the head of the bolt,

you might want to buy a socket and grind it down to make it thinner,

be careful as this will make it more prone to breaking.

The more difficult bolts might require a 1/4 rachet and a universal extension.

mine went a little easier, i used the racheting wrenches on the header bolts and they came out with a little pb blaster but i enede up breaking a bolt off in the head and had to pull the head off, so i pulled both and had them ported and polished, valve job, and re surfaced just for fun lol.. but i found it really easy to put my Pace Setters in with the heads off lol but i didnt have to grind any thing and i also eliminated the air pump and EGR system.... but good luck man..

I would get those headers and the y-pipe coated by Jet-Hot before you install them! Just my .02.
