Default Strange Clicking Sound

I have a strange one...hopefully you guys can help. I have a strange clicking noise that I would have to compare it to relays clicking. In gear at 650 RPM while in Drive the car stumbles a little bit and makes the clicking noise. It is kind of a random clicking but before and after that RPM the car is fine. Only at that RPM it would make the noise. At the same RPM while not in gear the car does not make the noise. ONLY under a load it makes the noise. I recently used a seafoam treatment and it says that it cleans the emissions. I also know that there is some noises that the A.I.R tube check valves when they go bad. Please help guys. While in park, there are absolutely no strange noises. I am taking a long trip tomorrow and I pray I won't break down. The most recent things are the seafoam treatment, 1/2 can in crank case and 1/2 can in the gas and synthetic oil change, changed trans fluid and filter, belt and new belt tensioner. I will update after the trip back.

Thanks Everyone
Chuck

It ended up being the compressor clutch bearings. Just decided to delete the system. I road without A/C for four years in my truck and it is nothing more than a power robber!!

unless you have an m6, i dont know why you would be at 650 rpms, even at idle. i could see maybe if you had it bogged out when starting in first gear with out feathering the pedal, then maybe it would see some 650 time but other than that, when does it go to 650?

These figures are exactly what my idle is like..... It idles a hair over 500 when warm. No need for such a high idle with these cars.
