Default high rpm's cut out problem

94 lt1
the engine will cut all the way out as in power but it will kick right back in and out it will do that back and forth until i let off the gas or drop my rpm's under the power band.also it jerks real bad when that happens.
Any help please.

I would start by checking the fuel pressure.

Remember

its Fuel, Air, Spark, Compression, I am leaning toward's fuel and when you do the test, do it under load please.

mine did that when my opti (just cap/rotor) were going out
