Default change cam or no?

I have 160k miles on my motor. it still runs pretty strong, I am wondering if changing the cam without rebuilding the motor (new cam bearings) is a bad idea.

if you drain the coolant and change oil after instal you should not have any real problems.just remember every engine has had a different life, with the mileage you have valvesprings will definately need to be changed.personally i would go for it

I would kiss main bearings good bye(I say this from experience). Cam bearings means the motor needs to come out also.
