Gm 847 Cam What Else Is Needed? i'm thinking of going with the 847 cam can anybody tell me what springs,push rods and lifters to use,i already have a set of crane gold 1.6 rockers sould i reuse these and are they any good?i've been wondering on that cause once i put them in and gutted my cat i blew the engine,so now i'm getting ready to pull it out and rebuild thanks for the help.
comp 918 beehive springs and comp hi tech 7.200 chromoly pushrods. you will be fine with stock lifters. you might have to ditch the rockers you have now and go with a non self aligning rocker because you wont have enough valve stem for the roller to sit on. i would use a set of nsa comp pro mags and guide plates
you'll need some good valvesprings(918) im using the 987's....hardened pushrods,new stock lifters ,1.6 rockers and some bigger fuel injectors.
