Default ac delete

I was just wondering what the pros and cons of doing this are, i really never use it anyway maybe one or two days a year.

I removed everything but the box on the firewall it really cleans up the engine bay a lot and you drop about 30+ pounds. if you do decide to get rid of the box on the firewall you have to make a plate to cover the heat blower motor but it cleans it up even more.

If you don't use it -- then ditch it. The a/c compressor is definitely a pain to get to, but you'll drop some weight if you get rid of the entire system.

I deleted mine for about a year, but when the Florida summer came back through, I decided I'd keep it around

I deleted the whole HVAC system and bought a block off plate at a vendor here SJM. i never used the ac and rarely drive the car so my compresser seals went bad and it dripped oil. plus it looks soooo much cleaner and easier to work on the motor with everything gone. i capped off the waterpump outlets just like i did when i deleted the factory oil cooler. car never sees the cold or rain so i have no worries.
