Default LT1 tuner needed in CT

looking for the best way to tune a custom rear mount turbo lt1 1997 obdII car in the connecticut area. nobody has lt1edit or seems to have used it so im a little leary about buying it and have them do it with out a little experience with it. so if there is anybody really goog with it in or near ct let me know i need my car tune in about a week or two

i talked to somebody there not sure who but he didnt really seem confident about it so it makes me leary about dropping 4-500 bucks if i ts not gonna be perfect

I would be leary if you are worried. My first tune with my STS was with someone who claimed he could tune it. He kept it some 4-6 weeks, turns out it was the first LT1 he had ever tuned (I overheard him tell someone else).
Take your time finding the right tuner, it would be worth the drive to find the right tuner.

koolaid- what did he tune it with tunercat or lt1edit? and by the way how is it drivability and performance wise.

I second it, I known Ted for years, he did my LT1 383 last year. My LS1 is there now getting the exhaust fixed on it.
