Default Code 36 with MSD opti, Trouble or not?

I am getting a code 36 from my 94 TA, and it is giving me hell again. The car was in the repair shop for almost a week and it is still not running correctly. If the SES light isn't on it will, after driving it a while, lose power (characterized by a quick drop in rpms) and then kick back to normal rpm for the speed. Once this 'loss' of rpm happens the light kicks on. On occasion the car just dies. Also I am having trouble starting it up on hotter days compared to cooler ones. Let me know if any of you guys are experiencing this, or know what to look for. Thanks.

Sounds like you are having problems once the car warms up then? See if you can go get the ICM tested, worth a shot. How long has the MSD been on the car?

About nine months now. It has been a pain, let me tell you. So you think the ICM might be bad? Would it show a code though? I really hope that it isn't the MSD opti that is bad. Thanks.
