what will the rpm's at 60mph be with a th350 and 3.42's, with stock size tires?
Also what is all neede for a th350 conversion?, a different driveshaft? transmission brace....I have a t56, just put a new clutch in, and I think something is wrong within the trans, so im thinking of taking it out

If you get the correct length tailshaft, you can use the same length driveshaft.
The correct way to do it would be to get a switch kit from Tekpak Fitzall. This kit comes with an output shaft, and spacer. This allows you to run the tailshaft off of your exsisting tranny and use the same speddo sensor. That way you can use the same crossmember, same driveshaft, and the same speddo sensor.

This is the route I'm going.

if you want to know what it would be like to have it in your car...just drive it around in third gear...both trannys (th350 and 4l60E) have a 1:1 third gear

so use fourth gear and dont forget that the converter is gonna slip a little, especially higher stalls. there are some websites that allow you to punch in you configurations (tire size, gear ratio, etc) anf figure it out, but still remember the converter
