Well i got my front O2's in and i decided to "step on it" and i didnt feel the "kick in the butt" feeling i usually get whenever i hit it. Is this because of my open headers?

 

Open headers will steal some low end power away and give it to ya up top I hear.

 

Your open headers are triggering the knock sensors as well as providing false readings to the front o2s, put some pipes on it and get the lt4 knock module youl'l get back the kick in the butt.

 

Yea, get some Exhaust on there, and it will do real good..

 

i have to wait to get the exhaust put on. the headers came flanged and my y-ipipe is split fit so that is what is holding everything up. how much does the knock module run? Is it worth it? the car will no longer be catted so i hope that doesnt effect peformance.

 

I dont know how much the knockmodule runs check shbox.com for the part #. Yes its worth it even once you put an exhaust on your computer will likely still be pulling timing from the extra noise of the headers.
